Was outside all day yesterday and as a result my face is red raw

I've taken today off ill from work and cant see my going back until it clears up, what's the best way of speeding up the process?

I put some after sun lotion on last night, shall I just continue with this or are there any other remedy's?

Not an amazing amount you can do about it, I don't think. Go and get some 'after sun' cream to stop the pain.

If it really is that bad that you can't work for the foreseeable future, then you might consider going to the doctors about it. If you're just making a scene, then just go back to work and take the humiliation that ensues.
