Ok, so every Sunday at around 6pm I get the Sunday blues, "oh no, work tomorrow, i can't stand the place, etc", but when Monday does come around (more often than not) I am fine and just get on with the job. So why Sunday? Is it years of conditioning of "I hate Mondays" or whatever thats made Sunday for me a bad day? Was this first started by School?

These 'blues' don't usually appear if I take a week day off, so what is it about Sunday? Is it the self-satisfied and smug TV programmes that come on at about 6 to smugly remind you that you have work tomorrow? What is it about Sundays?

Maybe, but I used to get it at school too. I can't believe I was the only person who didn't think, "YAY! It's school tomorrow, I can't wait, infact I wish I were there right now!".

I used to get them bad, even when I was unemployed. But since getting my current job I actually look forward to work. The job's a piece of cake, my co-workers are all decent and I love playing mind-games with the customers (just generally messing with them).

Simple things... :D

I know exactly what you mean mate, I'd spend a good portion of sunday just feeling **** about school on monday.

Not so much about work anymore as my job is pretty easy, but I do have my longest day on a Monday which doesn't help. :o

I think we should ban Mondays, just go straight from Sunday to Tuesday. :D

this isnt meant to be 'clever' (god forbid I'm ever guilty of that lol), but on sunday I see monday as one step closer to friday/saturday, I try and put a positive spin on it

I feel that way when I have the weekend off, get absolutely nothing accomplished around the house because I spent Friday night getting snockered and slept all day Saturday and/or watched TV all day. Then the weekend's over and I feel like I've just wasted it completely.
