Sunday night session (PS3 mob!)

Mornin' All,

We all know that 11pm tonight, the MGO servers should go live!

How about we get some good Sunday night games going in the run up to the main event?

I'm proposing something similar to the Sunday night Warhawk games of old, on perhaps Warhawk, UT3, Tekken, Burnout, COD4 or anything else for that matter! Then at 11 we get some friend matches on MGO (assuming it's possible, and working, and up)!

If you're not already on my list, lob me a friend request and I'll add you on my return from work.

It'd be nice to get the mob together again (with some of the new faces), so what do we reckon?

Sounds like a plan, good job I am off work tomorrow, can feel a late night coming on!
 
yeah sounds good, reckon i can get some friends invites of you guys as when im playing i always seem to be playing with whiney little kids

I will be online tonight, hopefully the servers will be live. Anyone know the beta game details eg. how many players a game? and if they can be off your friends list unlike GT5P
 
This is all i know about MGS4

Metal Gear Online Premiere Beta will be available as a free download on the PLAYSTATION® Store from April 17th (12:00 CEST) until May 6th (10:00 CEST).

The beta phase features two maps, four gameplay modes, the SOP System that encourages up to 16 players to team up and share information, and deep skill-customization. Also equipped with auto-matching and training modes, the game offers players a sneak peak of this totally new approach to console-based competitive gaming.

The Premiere Beta of Metal Gear Online starts on April 21st (00:00 CEST) and ends on May 6th (24:00 CEST).

Metal Gear Online will be included with Metal Gear Solid 4, which will be released on June 12, 2008.

Ill be up for some COD4 Warhawk UT3 before i get pwnd in MGO. With UT3 can we just use standard maps or tell people what mods and maps they need before hand, such as third person mod, shield mod, lego map etc?
Personally i love the UT3 version of shipment from cod4
 
I am up for Burnout, Tekken, Warhawk, COD4 or UT3.

IF the beta starts at 11pm I will hang around for that.

Shall we say Warhawk or UT3 then at say 20:00?

I'm after maximum attendance, and I don't want to exclude anyone who doesn't have UT3 (most people seem to have Warhawk)!

Incidentally, is Broken Mirror any good? Can I justify the £4 to download it before we play?

/edit - I'll also update the first post with MGO game ID's for those that haven't posted them.

I'm wondering whether to get it, i never play WarHawk though. :p

I have the omega map pack after rp forced me to get it :p, i have never played WarHawk since the day i got that map pack.

Does seem quite expensive for £5 though, 1 new map and a vehicle...

I say we just stick with the free 1.3 upgrade or whatever that came out. I think that was a mandatory update and I think it added the repair for soldiers and *** big shield thing?

I too have only played the Omega one a few times. All fell apart when we stopped paying on Sundays!!

Im sure it did the first time i tried with the 1.3 update i was running around hitting people with the wrench and destroying tanks lol. Not played with the health sheild/drain yet though.
 
The new expansion pack for warhawk is the best yet.

Really changes the game for the better and adds a whole new element to the gameplay ....... trust me get it.
 
I 'might' be there. Cant' afford Warhawk expansion though :p And I doubt servers will go live at 12am. We don't even know what timezone we're looking at.
