I have seen some sunglasses I like, they are Mormaii Bravas:

I really, really like these but not enough to pay £70 for a pair! I also need to be able to get prescription lenses for them.

Can you lot help me by finding some similar that dont cost the earth and can be fitted with prescription lenses?

How much am I looking at for prescription sunglasses these days?

When it comes to my eyes generally, I am not a cheapskate - my current pair are £400 lighweight frames + thin lenses but I wear those daily - I wont be wearing sunglasses much so I cant see the point in spending more than £40ish on frames + whatever it costs for reasonable lenses.

If you think you can take any pair of sunglasses into Vision Express and get prescription lenses fitted then you have obviously never tried.

I got a pair of prescription lenses fitted to some sunglasses from there, out of the range of sun glasses THEY had for sale only 30% they could actually fit lenses to. For a sort of guide any glasses that have wrap around lenses probably can't have a prescription fitted to them. (Maybe you can make a request to the manufacturer with your prescription but it would cost LOADS I'm sure, if they even do them)

If you defiantly need prescription lenses then going in and seeing what they have to say and what they have on offer would be a very good idea. If you just bring in any pair you stand a huge chance for disappointment.

On a lighter note I got a pair of vision express frames sunglasses WITH prescription lenses for £45! They are rimless and not to bad, slightly cheap build quality but then I knew they wouldn't be used that much and being sun glasses are more prone to being lost, even look ok.
