Hi All,
A few years ago I reached the age where I needed reading glasses. Eyesight has remained the same and a few years later, I'm still on the same prescription.
This was my first adventure into requiring glasses. So I purchased entirely based on the look of the frame/glasses over most anything else. Maybe that was a mistake - but anyway, my eyes obviously have expensive tastes and I ended up with a pair of Ray-Ban's.
Now, it turns out that I've managed to find the "perfect glasses for me". It was a fluke, it was just looking at the rows of empty frames, but I genuinely am losing count of how many compliments I've had on them.
Wife immediately said they are perfect - she is my wife, she's contractually obliged to say this.
Brother, Sister-in-law, brother-in-laws, mother-in-law all on first time seeing me in them made a compliment. But these are blood, if not obliged, they should be (not my brother though - he would have said if I looked like an idiot).
People at work, even my boss - "Didn't know you wore glasses - oh, they really suit you".
Listen, I'm taking this as a win. I'm not a fashionable guy and if I've managed to somehow find the glasses to rock, I shall continue wearing them as reading glasses and the day I need to transfer to wearing all the time, I'll get the same frame again.
However, I do now need some new non-prescription sunglasses.
I am guessing, in theory, it is possible to get the exact same frames as sunglasses - I just don't seem to be able to find them in such a configuration. Plenty of places will sell me the frame with my choice of lenses - non-prescription shades is not one of the options.
So, to my challenge. My reading glasses are using the frame:
RB 6335 (Size: 54 17 145)
Can anyone suggest or find a similar looking sunglass that I could investigate? I'm trying to get them to look as identical to this frame as possible.
Or, if anyone knows of a company that can supply the fame made up as standard sunglasses, that works too.
Cheers All.
