3 nights in a row, down to Findhorn bay to catch a sunset.....dedication, or just plain nuts?

Can I get some technical feedback on this pic?

300mm zoom lens, and a severe case of diffraction of the sunlight as it enters obliquely through the atmosphere. Makes the sun look bigger.......
