Finally got one, been ages since there has been one with decent cloud traffic :D - You can just make out the rays as they bbeam through lighter clouds and the open areas of sky.

This one was slightly closer to home though (like through the window closer, heh)

f10 1/100 , decided to use the 18mm end of the kit lens for this.

Took in portrait orientation to give emphasis to the sky, which was the idea :) - a landscape orientation gives it (and any sky) a much more relaxed feel which was not what I wanted - I wanted it to look more powerful or "deep" which 18mm @ portrait does quite well to a sky with a lot of action going on.

You should be able to imagine it in time lapse as that's the sort of angle time lapse photo/video-graphers would use - imagine the clouds moving fast and light falling swift - if that works then it works!
