My car has had supaguard applied, it was free from the dealers. I noticed that is has some slight swirl marks and wondered if there was anything that I could do without removing the supaguard stuff?

Remove Supaguard, 'cos it's rubbish, then apply some Autoglym or Meguiars products. This will better protect your car and also help with the swirls :)

What exactly is it? The GFs mums has it, and although it looks shiney after a wash Ive put that down to it been new paint. (mine looks better waxed though)

So how would I go about removing the supaguard then? Bear in mind that my normal idea of cleaning a car is washing and drying it and that's all.

You can buy paint cleansers to strip wax and polish, or you could try fairy liquid, thats normally does a good job of getting rid of waxes etc.

Bear in mind if its badly swirled, then you will need a machine to remove the swirls,if its not too bad then use autoglym super resin polish, which is excellent for swirl filling, then use a decent wax, I personally use Collinite as it looks good and lasts a good few months, you could also try natty's blue, harleys, victoria etc.Collonite is £20 a tub, but will last you a good few years tho.

I should perhaps also say that this is a company car and I'll only be keeping it till the end of the year.

supagard works fine for me its only 20 quid off ebay.

then i used to just wash the car with water and its as it was after waxing it before i applied the sealant (supagard) ;)
