supcom -beginner help needed with patches etc

i got supcom for £3 off the bay brand new
not really played an rts properly since red alert 2

i had a go of WIC but ended up leaving it after a bit

so im trying out supcom
installed the game last night
the first screen comes up all distorted and wont allow me to click on anything

im guessing a patch will fix it

there seems to be loads of patches for it - i dont know which one i need
or if i need all of them

where can i get them from? tried all the usuals and cant see anything!

any advice would be brilliant

Fire up GPGNet and it should automatically update itself. You may have a problem doing that though if it's a second hand buy - worth a try though as it's by far the easiest way to traverse the minefield of patches.

Updating through GPGnet could take ages.

Try here. Seems to have an all-in-one patch.
