supcom Core Maximizer error :(

Hay all.

Having a probem with the Core Maximizer running on windows 7 ultimate 64bit

When i run Core Maximizer 30 seconds later i get this error.

Run-time error '429':ActiveX component can't create object

I had a look on google how to fix it but can't find much

Anyone got a clue ?

Never had this on xp before.

I know you asked for someone with a clue but with no idea what it is that's not working try run as admin always seems to fix issues for me

Hmmm I use the Core Maximizer for SC:FA on Windows 7 64bit, with no issues at all.

Are you logged in as administrator?

I did try running as admin but still same thing.

I thought i found a fix by deleting the repository in C:\Windows\System32\wbem but still same error

I also posted on the supcom forums see what they say

as long as you're updated to the latest patch for supcom you shouldn't need core maximiser apparently the optimisation was built in

I did test last night with 4 sorian ai and i have a amd 955 and the first and 4th cores where only really doing any work 2 and 3 never moved much at all

After the the ai teams got bigs armys it was not slow but i felt a bit laggy i think.

There is another program on the supcom forums called the Core Balancer i tested it and seems to work and all 4 cores getting some action now

But i keep trying getting the Core Maximizer working as that mite be better.
