supcom dvd required ?

hi im just wondering if the guys who have forged alliance with the latest updates...do they still need to insert the dvd to play ?

im thinking about buying it but would much prefer not to have to install the dvd everytime i play.

After the first patch for both supcom and forged alliance, the need for the dvd was removed.

Btw go for the gold edition which has SupCom and FA and you can get for under a tenner. Although FA is standalone, if you just have FA you can only play seraphim.
