super cheap CPU for HTPC machine

Hi there,

putting together a (really) cheap wee machine together to put in the living room as a sort of entertainment hub.

It only has to run Netflix/Amazon prime etc on 1080p HD possibly blue ray dvds and be good for internet browsing and the like. The mrs will be using it most and her laptop utterly sucks.

Anyway the CPU for the rig I'm considering;

AMD Kabani 5350 2.05ghz quad core or AMD Trinity A4 6300 3.7 ghz duel core.

Will either these be good enough? It is not for running games. Or should I consider a cheap pentium processor?

Any cheap AMD dual core APU will do. Even a Haswell based Celeron will be fine with its iGPU.

i had a 5150 in mine worked perfectly for 1080 films. saves a little more cash as well
