I've been wanting to upgrade my my old HX850 psu for quite a while now. If I am going to upgrade it I want it to be something special and the Platinum 1600W Super Flower will do very nicely for me for years and years! Overkill? Most definitely yes! My current system does not draw anything near that level, probably draws half the wattage or less to be fair but that's not a bad thing as the PSU would running at 50% load or less which would keep it quiet and cool (I hope the fan and fan profiles are improved over the Platinum psu's)

I would have thought the Super Flower 1600W 80-Plus Titanium PSU would be for sale now at OC especially as you can buy the EVGA equivalent.

Will OC ever get these in stock?

Not sure exactly. I can't remember, but I think the Platinum super flower/EVGA is actually Titanium level.


Think that the EVGA 1600 has the same internals as the superflower 1600 too, as superflower make them for EVGA.

So, buy the EVGA 1600 plat that is in stock here, it comes with more warranty than superflower provides anyway :)
