Super glue motherboard m.2 stand off?

Is this safe to do?

It took 15 minutes to clone the 1TB SSD and when I went to install the SSD I found that the standoff just fell off

WTH never had that before

Blimey..... 15 minutes to clone the drive and then almost 3 hours faffing around with getting the m.2 installed.

Glue worked fine but finding the correct size screw lead to much frustration

"There's nothing SuperGlue and a Dremel can't fix!". Superglue (well, the pure cyanoacrylate stuff) is non-conductive, so no worries.

Can't say that I have ever used it (I have used epoxy) but it should be safe. It's a plastic substance so it is an insulator.

I found a screw kit in the rainforest that worked. It was for multiple brands and took a bit of guess work.

Otherwise superglue is fine for those kind of temperatures.

Has the drive got a beefy heatsink?

Cyanoacrylate is 100% the correct adhesive to use on PCBs so no issues there.
