Hiya All

Had my Super Lanboy for about 6 months now, with only some of the motherboard leads plugged in (HD Load / Power LED etc not plugged in). So, I went to plug them in yesterday to find the lead saying "Power LED" has 3 holes with the cable going in the two end ones like this:

I--I
ooo

The motherboard socket only has only two holes so I need to rewire the Power LED so the two cables are going in the first two holes like:

II
oo

I dont know how to do this, does anyone else, I think people have had this sort of problem before, will also post a picture ASAP when I get hold of a camera.

Thanks :D

Happened to mine too, i'm just using the power LED. Easier than re-wiring and i never look at the HDD Led anyway :p

Use a sharp next to split the jumper block into two?

or knife or even a small hacksaw, carefuly down the middle or the conector, then you can turn the two halves you're left with through 90 degrees so they fit.

Are you using some kind of predictive typing thingy by any chance squiffy? :p

PK!

What i've done in the past is gently push the metal pin out of the plastic casing and shove it in the middle hole. So that both cables are side by side.

I found a chunky needle was good at pushing the pin out :)

Just get a scalpel to lever the metal pin at the back of the wire...Then you should beable to pull the wire out, and put it where you want on the block...

Or has said before jsut cut the block in half...just people might moan when/if you decide to sell the case on.

Thanks for your help. Im gonna attempt to get swap the wires now, or if i get annoyed take a saw to it. Thanks I will inform you of the results (if i dont get fried) :p

Rewired but still doesnt work, nor does the "LED" or "HD LED", even tried placing them in different slots than in the motherboard manual. I have offically given up :D

Thanks for your help.
