As title,

I have a an i5 quad sandy, anyway to underclock it to low low low power , I have a Z68 mainboard and H61, can it be done either?

Also any 3rd party windows apps that can FORCE underclock and FORCE low low low low power?

Bios, set multi to 16/20 or whatever you want. As a starting guide (bios/board/brand voltage reading differences etc) 16x ought be doable ~0.85v or lower. My 2700k will hit 16x at 0.84v, 20x at 0.91v and 32x (3.2GHz) at 1v. My 2500k would require a little less. (16x 0.8v, 20x 0.82v, 32x 1v) You'l have to use fixed voltage as the VID will set a far higher than normally required voltage (to likely account for the worst of chips and years of accumulated degradation with a decent safety margin) and a negative offset will take you too low (at least it does on my board, other boards/bioses may differ) causing instability or hangups.
