Well the reviews are starting to roll out but still no release date for here yet :(

Quite looking forward t this never played a paper mario game so don't really know what to expect but it does look a whole lot of fun, and from some of the reviews its ment to be amusing too which is a bonus.

Anyone else looking forward to this ?

Some of the scores here;
IGN (89/100)
AMN (88/100)
1UP (80/100)

I'm toying with the idea of selling my UK wii and getting a US one. Really looking forward to this, and with it coming out today (I think) in the US and still no date for the UK, I'm worried it's going to be like this with everything else.

I was thinkig the same thing, it does look like paper mario will be out before the end of june :mad:

That's quite a good idea... hadn't thought of doing that but it makes sense. We seem to be getting the ****** end of the stick when it comes to game releases. I can only think of Wii Play that we didn't get shafted on, and that was only useful for the controller.

The warranty issue would be the only thing putting me off doing it, but that's probably a non-starter anyway as I've not heard of anyone's Wii going Pete Tong.

Been looking into this some more and it looks great heres a few comments for a review

You should buy this game for a number of reasons. It's a Mario game and for some that will be enough. It's also one part platformer and another part RPG, successfully dabbling in both genres. It controls tightly and uses the Wii remote in a smart manner without stepping into forced territory. The new 2D-to-3D dynamic is built around clever and surprisingly complex puzzles that will challenge and impress you. And it all comes together to make Super Paper Mario a highly enjoyable title, whether you want to call it a platformer, an RPG, or something in-between. You will have fun and the fun will last for a good while, plain and simple.

Does indeed sound good... It's definitely one game I'll be getting.

There's a video of the first 30 minutes of gameplay floating around on t'internet. Have you seen it? It looks good, and the reviews I've read so far seem to confirm that it's gonna be a great game.

Having played Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door to its completion this is a game I am very excited about.

I am very dissapointed that we still have no release date over in the UK for it and like has been mentioned already, Nintendo have already announced the Q2 releases and it is not on there. So the earliest we 'might' see it is June/July but this is still only a maybe.

The serious lack of titles for the Wii is something that is now beginning to cause some frustration and with very titles of any quality likely to hit our shores anytime soon it doesn't seem as if it is going to get better.

Nintendo are notorious for a lack of software in their first year of releasing a new console so it looks like it is just going to be a patient wait for loyal nintendo fans.

love these games, some really good ninty related humor in them and they play really well looks like the new one will use the wii remote well too :)
