Super PI Scores! AMD vs Intel

i was just looking at the conroe overclocking thread on the CPU section and a 3Ghz Conroe took 16 Seconds to do a 1M.

so i thought i would test mine Opty 146 @ 2.8 and i got 31 Seconds

would others please post their scores for reference.
i just want to see how AMD vs Intel vs GHz

looks that way no intels arround.... maybe that tells you something.???

as someone posted earlier, that super pi is about timings. will tight timings win over speed? if i dropped my memory speed and tightened the timings would this make much difference to my pc?

EDIT: i use my pc for encoding dvd's and general pc use.
