This is what I have had the most success from, nero vision always seems to freeze for me and dvdsanta just crashes.
I would say that convertxtodvd doesn't seem to obey dvd standards so whilst most players do seem fine with it there might be problems fitting it nicely all on the tv screen.

A 1.2gig avi just took me 4 hours to convert and burn. Guess that's what I deserve for having a Barton 2500

haha mines is about an hour for 700meg avi's, 3000+ barton, could be time for a well deserved upgrade!
