By google it says it supports 2.5", Just wondering if it will be better then this one

Apparently its the default 500gb that comes with the slim but I have had nothing but stuttering in most games I play with it, so want to replace with the samsung.

Any 2.5" 5400rpm drive will be fine.

Not true, I think they have to be 9.5mm high drives for all ps3's and since some 2.5" drives are 12.5mm they don't fit.
