Super Slow Sky Broadband Today ?

Seemed to have a similar problem last Saturday, but today its really poor. This is the only site i've managed to load after many attempts. Cant get Skys own page or skyuser to load. Even google times out.

Rebooted router, router settings and speeds in router seem fine, no virus etc.

North Notts .. anyone else having issues ?

They might be doing some work on exchanges near you.

No probs Newcastle, try right click on your taskbar > network icon(internet access) >troubleshoot problems if that does not help do a system restore about the 6th which would be just before last Saturday.

No problem here in Telford. Everything working as quickly as normal.

I had a few issues on Thursday, My router kept going to MER/PPPoA under network type & the connection was dropping a lot & time outs on websites. Found a forum post on the Skyuser forums that was telling people to hold down the reset button on the back of the router for 1 minute.

I did that & since then it has been rock solid again

Might be worth a try.

Cheers, gave the reset button a go and it at least got surfing going again , but still very slow.

Left it till today and reset again and its better, although have lost 1.5 meg off the download speed looking at the router settings. Hopefully it will come back with dynamic line management over next day or two.

Wonder if the Anytime+ is affecting places not mentioned above.
