I'll be wave dashing and L cancelling on a Wii soon enough

Wish it was online like mario kart though so I can get called a cheater by all the idiotic newbie kids just because they haven't come across snaking, which has been in every mario kart bar the first one.

might crack out melee and start getting a bit of practice in, easily the best fighter around so much fun especially the smaller levels

It's a shame only 2/3 characters were any good, you only ever saw sheik (winner was always sheik), marth and fox in tournaments. I hope SSBB has FAR better character balance.

I'd get a wee (oops) in a second if this game was online. In all honesty I was **** at it on the GC (so Kreeeee would hate playing me as I protest about every death

They always dodged the question in anything I've read about the subject. I'd love to be wrong though

States it will be online but I definitely remember reading a few interviews more recently where online was causing real issues.

I wonder how the general OcUK population would find playing online based on their reaction to "cheating" snakers in mario kart. So many people who think they're good at the game are going to get completely decimated.

I enjoy playing Smash Bros. with my friends as we are all about the same level in skill. but I would know I would suck at it and hence would probably never play online, unless there was some sort of ranking.
I don't mind getting beaten at games, it happens a lot, but to lose so badly that I do not learn anything at the same time is very pointless IMO and I can see that happening with this game.

i thought they had said no online cause its such a fast paced game any slight lag would give a massive massive advantage

If you read the article I linked to it says that ranking is highly unlikely.

I had heard it would be online as well.
If it isn't then (yet again with their online plans) Nintendo are making a BIG mistake. I am sure many people would forgive the need for friends codes if they could play this online. Still can't believe they didn't implement a single FC lists on the system for all games..... grrrrrrrrrr.

It's not like it's even hard to do as you have the Wii bloomin' friends code!
