It's been out for weeks, I've had the demo downloaded for ages. Gimme a sec and I'll check which store it's on.

/edit - It's on the HongKong store for 78HK$ (which is like a fiver). If anyone wants my HK login to buy it, mail in trust ;)

heheh. Yeah, it's completely English, 1080p and a lot of fun :p

I'd never played Puzzle Fighter at all until this came out, so i've nothing really to compare it with :)

The demo lets you choose between Ken & Ryu and play 3 matches on the basic difficulty. Truth be told I've been waiting for this to come to the UK store since getting the demo as I'm (Still, since july) without credit card :(
 
so how would it work if someone were to borrow your PSN id? pay and download but then how would you use it on your own ID? or would you have to log in as you to get access to the game?

also, what happens to PSN downloads if you format and you;ve paid for it? do you have to repay to download?

The vast majority of games aren't tied to your PSN account. You can download paid items up to 5 times. I think the only game that is tied to the downloading account at the mo is warhark.

Based on what we played, Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD is headed in a positive direction and is worthy of some healthy anticipation. Although the game's release has been moved back from late this year to early 2008, we'd rather wait and let Capcom get it right than deal with a rush job. The upgraded visuals, refined gameplay, and extra content being prepped for the game all seem well worth the wait if they maintain the level of quality we saw. Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD is slated to ship early next year for the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360. Look for more on the game in the coming months.

Is this going to be a proper game release or just a paid for download via PSN and XBL? I might have to buy a cheap Xbox 360 core just to play this!!

Download only, on both networks, at the same time.
Unless you have an arcade stick I would never ever play a streetfighter 2 game on a 360 over a ps3 just down to the d-pad.
Sadly at present there are no SF2 based games for PSN :mad:
