Hi folks,

I've finally convinced myself to take the plunge on a new superwide PC Gaming Monitor.
I'm coming from a Predator XB21HU which is really great, but I really fancy a super-wide (not ultra - that's too much for me!)

Problem is, i have no idea what I should be looking at. nor budget so could do with a range of suggestions.
My current monitor is 27 inch and I would like bigger than that - but no more so than 34 inch. 1440p res is fine and HDR would be a bonus.

Picture quality is the most important thing for me. I'm not a hardcore gamer, though confess I have really appreciated G Sync for 144hz on my current monitor (using a 2080Ti currently).

With thanks in advance,

That's a good monitor so you are going to have to spend big to match it. I would actually consider a 38". The reason I say that is because the manufacturers highest spec monitors all seem to be coming out with 38" screens at the moment. That is 3840x1600, but your 2080Ti will be able to handle it well enough for the moment. There is always the Alienware AW3420DW, but the Alienware AW3821DW is a much better monitor and only a tad more expensive right now. If you can get discounts ( people are around to advise on how ) then the AW3821DW can be had for a real bargain price ( if you call £1100 a bargain ). The Alienware AW3420DW is still in the running though if you can get that price down.
I don't think there is a decent HDR IPS monitor around at the moment. You could perhaps consider a VA model like the Gigabyte G34WQC, but then that's not G-Sync. It's a darn good monitor for the money though and certainly fits most of your requirements.
