Super wide or multi monitor?

I'm looking to get myself a new monitor in the new year, though I have no knowledge about monitors, so any help would be great.

If it helps the type of use my pc gets is as follows:-

Gaming (not as much since brought ps4)
Video editing
CAD
Youtube

btw - I have enough desk space for either option

Or do I use the extra cost of another monitor/super wide to buy a 4k panel?

I've ditched 2 x Del 27 " monitors in my studio for one Dell 34 Inch super wide.

Video editing and music creation is great on superwide....Just make sure you go 3440 x 1440p

Superwide, went from a 27" and 24" to a 34" . Don't get 2560x1080 though make sure it's 3440x1440.

I much prefer my 34" UW over the 2x 27" screens I was using before, both for work and gaming use.
