Far to intense for a pad imo, and the Source engine just looks so dated in those video's.

Source engine looks fine.

If it was all about the graphics I'd be playing Crysis Multiplayer non-stop.

Saw nothing that makes the AI stand out. The preview I saw on GamerTV was also some of the worst AI I've ever seen.

I still remain unconvinced.

Not true at all. Many games please me, surely you'd understand that. I play most of them after all.

This along with Little Big Planet is one of the few unique games this year, not really just another FPS at least.

For some reason this game is just not grabbing me. I like the idea, but it just doesn't seem that fantastic. People are raving about it simply because it's Valve and they can apparently do no wrong.

As for the OP, the AI doesn't look that good really. In other videos it looks shockingly bad, more like a HL2 guy or CS:S bot than anything else. I certainly wouldn't want it on a console either!

I'm raving about it because I've always wanted a Zombie game that's good with fast moving enemies, even more so an FPS game.

The addition of co-op is icing on the cake, plus you don't seem to be taking into account the mods that will come out because of Left 4 Dead, I cannot wait for a refined Zombie Mod (Multiplayer) to come out.

How is it not just another FPS, that's exactly what it is and a poor one at that.

Granted gfx aren't everything, but if they were any good at least it could have something going for it as the gameplay looks far to repetative and not fun at all. I could see a fair few console pads & keyboards being smashed up over christmas.

Name one other first person Zombie survival horror game.

I know me and friends will have a blast on this game, so whatever. As for repetitive, the Zombies change every time in spawn locations and the amounts of them, plus user-made maps and modifications, need I say more.

Unless you mean the gameplay mechanics will get repetitive, but name a game that doesn't.

So you've decided to not name another first person zombie game, let alone one with co-op and online play.

Totally not unique, loads of others games have done the same thing in the past.

Ok just to keep you happy, well you have Siren which obviously includes Zombies & can be played first person but I'm sure you won't be happy with that, so the closest match would the zombie mod for CS:S which was free and rubbish also.

Halo 3 has 4 player co-op, and was also a FPS but oh wait it had monsters not zombie's so that's not comperable at all....

Zombie Mod on CS:S is a right laugh, sure not the most well made but it's a lot of fun, how do you mean rubbish also? Howcome Left 4 Dead has had such good previews if it's rubbish?

Halo 3 has 4 player co-op, on the single player campaign which isn't a survival horror game to begin with.

It's unique regardless of what trollop you try and counteract with, the fact is no survival horror games have been done in first person like Left 4 Dead has, maybe you're just hurt Valve ain't bringing it to PS3 as I recall you being quite PS3 biased a while ago.

AI didnt look anything special, game looks fun - but only for so lond another Dead Rising - 5 mins of "haha cool" then "oh... this is just the same"

As I recall Left 4 Dead also has proper adversarial multiplayer so I don't see why it will only last 5 minutes, that and the fact you can get new, free maps and modifications, PC version for the latter of course.
