Anyone know of any forums for the owners of supercars to show off their collections and stuff?

Like 6 speed online.

pistonheads is probably the cloest thing in this country. Number of press articles ive seen about TVRs and porshes and the owner is on pistonheads is quite a lot.

Most of the forums where such owners frequent are invite only. You tend to only get an invite if you are an owner of or known to owners of such cars. I am a member of a 'few' such sites and to be totally honest you're not missing much and as has been said most of the members will also be seen on other sites such as Pistonheads. If you think there are a few "look at my wad" posts on this forum you haven't seen anything I promise you, it can be most distasteful on private forums sometimes.

The starred out words....

What about them? I could have said Rich gits, or Wealthy blokes, or well off chaps, I just chose the *s as its a bit of fun.

It was also a hint at what Housey said. The cars, without the distasteful 'Look how rich and awesome I am' content that sometimes accompanies such things.

It wasn't meant to be offensive, Im sorry if it did.

There is a BMWish forum like this. In theory its a great idea but it seems to be one huge blingfest. It's also suprisingly full of rather young people with rather posh cars. One guy has just replaced his Merc E500 with a Cayenne despite having a HUGE signature proudly displaying his 'Mercedes E500 Advantguard'. You'd think if you were THAT into your posh cars you'd be able to spell your trim level... shame really in theory its such a good idea (Modifications for BMW's etc) and many of the guys on there are decent and know their stuff but... I dunno. Wicksta knows what I mean though.

The majority of members of the private forums i know have cars ranging from diablo turbos, ferrari f40, ferrari dino's etc.. but there is a reason they keep it private, cause they dont want every tom dick or harry asking show us your car then, they are all decent guys just like the rest who dont like to brag but still chat about their cars.

In my experience most petrolheads are down to earth and happy to share their experiences and chat about their cars with like minds and interested parties. There are one or two who are blingy with it but most are down to earth car nuts. The image that people often have of fezza and lambo owners for example bares little resemblence to reality. One guy I know has a nice Murci but got so excited when he finally got his dream car to put alongside it, a 15k integrale!

Have to agree there, the few people with top end cars I have met have all been normal people (as such), with a passion about their cars.
It's the ones who buy the cars as a status but don't really know about them that have a ***ty attitude I have found
