I am looking at getting a macbook so i can hang on sofa with it, I will keep my pc for gamming. Do i spend the extra for the superdrive or just leave my main PC for my dvd burning ?

I could always create iso on macbook and then burn on pc right?

what do u lot think, is it worth the extra money ?

IMO it is worth the money, I have a superdrive on my iBook and don't have a DVD burner on my PC (hopefully soon to be rectified).

It proves very handy and allows me to burn high density media on the move.

You should be able to create an ISO on your Mac and then burn it using your PC if meets normal industry standards.

I don't have a superdrive in my MB. I barely ever use the cd/dvd drive anyway! Maybe once a month i'll put a cd in, but it's probably not even that often in reality!

They're also the noisiest thing in the Macbook, you'd actually make an effort, not to use it.

yeah its handy but if you have one on your main system you can always burn it on that :)

saying that i did sell my original macbook to buy one with a superdrive in it tho!
