Superdrive

Been trying to get Remote Disc to work on my Air only to find out that you can't use it for audio cd's

So is the Apple Superdrive as fragile as some reviews suggest and are there any alternatives ?

Thanks for your reply.

However that Samsung drive appears to need 2 usb ports to power it which is a bit tricky on the Air as it only has 2 and they are on opposite sides! I would ideally like to keep one free for other stuff.
