Superflower Leadex - Any coilwhine?

I'm considering a Superflower PSU for my next build (5820k build). Haven't decided on wattage yet.

I wanted to know from leadex owners if these PSU's have any coilwhine?

I've been using an Enermax Galaxy 1KW for 6 years, for the system in my sig (overkill on the wattage I know), this PSU has no coilwhine and is very quiet, so I want a replacement that's as good quality.

From the reviews I read on the Superflower, they seem really great apart from the fan cable, which can come loose and rub against the fan. Not sure how common this issue is?

Hey! You cannot go wrong with a Superflower PSU. I currently use this and it's great. I haven't noticed any coil whine or anything like that.

I have a 750W SuperFlower Leadex Gold and it's great! It's silent and the fan only spins up when it's under load/warm and it's still near silent (flick the switch to eco mode). No coil whine or any other odd noises with mine

Recently moved over to a leadex platinum 1000w psu, very quiet unit. Even moreso than my previous corsair hx 850.

Using 750w Leadex Gold,had no coil whine,and honestly never even heard the psu fan,not even sure if its ever actually had to even turn on lol

Same here... I had to flick the switch from eco to auto mode just to see if the fan actually worked haha

I think this will be my next purchase as I'm running a hx 850 and it's the loudest thing in my case now so wanting a quieter psu. Probably gonna go for the 1200w version as there is no difference in size over the 1000w.

Currently looking for the quietest PSU i can find, anyone know when the fan kicks in on this say 400w+ etc? haven't seen the answer in reviews

mate i have been researching for exact same question - have a look at corsair rm series, according to youtube reviews fan kicks in about 40% load. plus advantage that its fully modular psu.
