I just bought a brand new Leadex 1000w Gold from OCUK before the weekend and it has been completely silent up until last night.
The fan on the PSU is now constantly on at a decent RPM even while the ambient temp and the air coming out is < 20c even when the computer is idle.
On the back switching between ECO/auto and another blank setting, the fan speed doesn't change for auto and the other but stops on ECO. Is there anything that would cause the fan to keep spinning even when under 0 load?
System is in my sig, surely even under full load it shouldn't be enough to get the fan spinning?
I'll give the PSU it's dues, it let me OC my 980Ti from 1480 to 1530 without any change in voltage where my old TX750 capped out.
