Hi!

after many years of heavy use, my beloved PSU eventually kicked the bucket.
CA-009-SF SuperFlower Leadex GOLD 1000W Fully Modular "80 Plus Gold" Power Supply - Black

I've replaced PSU:s before in self-built computers...but this time my computer was expertly build by OC UK
and I'm not really looking forwards to replacing all cables as that is a big part of the expert build look&feel.

Normally I would just order a new one, however since you guys left the EU, I'm not really sure what it would cost me and considering the times, every penny counts.
Furthermore it's out of stock in OC UK.

This exact same PSU model doesn't even exist in my country.
I know it's a big no-no to mix cables from different brands (unless you enjoy fireworks).

I'm just wondering, do you guys know if any SuperFlower PSU cabling are compatible with each other, 850w,1000w,1200w gold/platinum I/II/III etc, or do I need the exact same model?

Thanks in advance!

I was afraid, you'd say that...

It was called "Ultima Marble" by OC UK - i7 5960X Extreme OC @ 4Ghz later upgraded with RTX 2070.

Thanks for the quick help!

Oh, that's great to know about Corsair for the next rig, gives me hope! Thanks I wrote SF now good suggestion! They are celebrating new year right now, but guess they are soon back to business. Will let you know if I get an useful reply.

I'm in Sweden, braided cables. However, after some investigation I realized that the original cables are not compatible with any recent PSUs.

So I bit the sour apple and bought a new PSU. Simply swapped 1 cable at the time, following the original cable layout. Sure, not as beautiful as before, but I still love my computer, cpu 38 degrees, they just don't make 'em like that anymore.

Case closed! ;) No issues seen this far. Thanks for all the help!

Thanks, I went with a 1000W Corsair RM1000X, overkill for my current setup, but I ran SLI in the past and don't like the PSU to limit experimentation.

Was impressed by their customer commitment with the "psu-cable-compatibility" table, so they deserve my money. ;)
