can someone tell me what exactly the eco mode does when its turn on the back on the psu.
does it just stop the fan spinning until it needs to? instead of spinning on the lowest rpm all the time? or does it do more than that
thanx
i have the leadex II 650w

It disables the fan until the unit hits a certain temp. It has a pair of temperature limits. If I remember right the first is around 45 degreed and the fan kicks in at low speed (something like 700rpm). The second step is around 60 degrees and the fan speed increases again and works similar to the normal mode up to it's max of 1500rpm if the temp keeps climbing.

yeh thats what i thought and with it turned off the fan spins all the time right?, thank you
