Hi I have had this PSU for over 7 years and still going strong.I’m building a new rig this weekend . On me old rig my 980 GTX GPUs had two 6 pin connectors .on this new GTX 3070 Ti it has Three 8pin connectors. Will my 6+2 pin connectors be ok for this new GPU ? Appreciate feedback

The cables are all individually anyways with 6pin+2pin basically to my understanding is this can be used in a 6 pin and optional and can be used as 8 pin if needed .Which in my case it will be needed. Also my MB has Maximus z690 Hero has loads off extra connections two 8 pin and two 6 pin also I think. Will I need to use them or just plug in the 24 pin and go ?

If the last bit is referring to EPS, just plug both in. Also 6+2 PCIe is fine, runs 6 or 8 fine.

I’ve plugged in both ESP sockets with the 6+2.There’s all so another socket on the board for a 6 pin.Was thinking do I need to plug one into that one too .At the moment I got no issues not having it plugged in to that socket.
