Cant wait to test it out.
as i have been having issues with my 1250w psu as i think i am pushing it to much cause my system will completely turn off after 15 minutes when gaming. its like i push the power button in no errors or anything so i think its a psu issue, granted the psu works perfectly fine but i think im pushing it over the rated spec.

---------------------------------------------------------

So i bought this psu should arrive tommorow and will fit it in at the weekend has anyone from ocuk bought this psu yet... and if so how has it been any issues ? and also i have a Xigmatec Asylum case does anyone know if this psu will fit in the case as i expect this psu to be huge.

At that kind of price and although they're lower wattage I would have went for a Titanium unit either the AX1500i or the EVGA SuperNova T2 1600w.

How much are you drawing from the wall?

im not sure how much i am drawing from the wall.
all my system is overclocked @4.9ghz i7
with 5 hdd`s 1 ssd 13 fans watercooling pump + R9295X2 @1150/1690
with 8 usbs being used and Sound blaster ZXR sound card.

im sure its using more than 1250w what the current psu is using when fully under load.
thats whats making me think i need a more powerful psu and if i was going to get one i would go for the best most powerful one so that i wont need another one for a wile.

+ this 2000w psu is ment to be the best most powerful psu there is and with a 5 year warranty attached to it then its a no brainer right.
and money is not a issue so those 2 you said would be mute point as this 2000w is better right.

The AMD rep on Here bought it to power 4 x R9 290X cards, although I can't find the thread.

It was also used by 8Pack for some benchmarking - http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showpost.php?p=27557137&postcount=18

sweet :)

now all i need to find is a 20a extention cable from somewhere with surge protection built in.....

as i think im best to run this psu off its own dedicated outlet rather than on my daisy chained cables from 1 outlet lol

does anyone know what surge protection extention cable with 20amps heavy duty and 10 meters, where i could find out so that i wont run into any issues when fully taxing this beast.

How's it going?

hows what going ?
psu will be shipped out tomorrow then arrive tuesday, i will set it up at the weekend :) as i work nightshift so dont have a lot of time to do the swap as my system is fully watercooled. so not a 5 minute job :)

though i will report in the beast when it arrives.

tested a 3000w kettle in my room and it boiled without tripping the circuit so i guess thats good lol

just hope it fixes my kernal 41 hard reboot issue when gaming.... if that does not fix it then i guess its either memory or motherboard, both of wich are under warranty, just hope its not my R9295x2 even though its also under warranty its going to be a pain in the ass removing my watercooling and putting the stock cooler back in.
