Hi guys. I'm looking to upgrade my PSU to hopefully eliminate this 295X2 coil whine im experiencing (identical issues even after a replacement)

My question is what are the main differences between the SuperFlower 1200 Watt 80 Plus Platinum and the SuperFlower 1300 80 plus Gold.

The 1200 Platinum is more expensive but the gold has 100 more watts. Is the only difference the Platinum will save on electric bills over time?

Honestly which is the better performer out the two please? Both similarly priced but the EVGA has the better warranty, looking for best performance...

So there's actually no difference baring a couple of pound and an extended warranty? :S
