I have a support ticket with Blizzard as I've had an atrocious ping in Overwatch (and only Overwatch, no other games) for about 2 months. They claim that I'm using a router with a Puma 6 chipset, but I thought that was only on the Superhub 3? Doing a bit of googling, the 2ac uses either a Puma 5 or a Broadcom chipset, but I don't really know which for certain. Is there any way I can check myself outside of opening it up?

Superhub 3 with Puma 6 is the one with poor latency. Superhub 2ac is much better and doesn't have the problems the SH3 has. In fact, serious gamers with SH3 latency issues are going to a lot of trouble to get one of the dwindling supply of SH2ac out of VM to replace their SH3s.

Whatever is causing you bad pings to Overwatch, it's probably not the SH2ac.

If the sh3 is used in modem mode alongside A standalone router, will it still have the same poor latency?
