Hi guys,

posted this on VM forums, but its slow to get a reply there.

Okay so i trying to setup the Superhub with a WNR2000 router as the superhubs wireless is pathetic.

So i followed the guide on VM website on how to setup "Modem Mode"...done that applied settings,Then changed my cable over to the only active port (In modem mode) and connected it to my router.

However,Now in modem mode i am unable to use the internet (wired) OR login into the Superhubs control panel using the new IP address of 192.168.100.1.

All i get is "Unable to connect" Firefox cant establish a connection to the server 192.168.100.1..

when i turn it back into Normal mode, internet and login works fine?

WHY VM had to use this pile of junk is beyond me,The previous modems worked brilliant,.wish i could go back to the old modem. :(

appreciate any help here guys.

Sounds like an IP issue with the new router. Is the new router set up? Modem mode will not assign IP's at all, and is just that modem mode.

And the superhub works just fine here. I do not use the wireless, have my own wireless access points for that, everything else is just fine.

WNR2000 works fine; this router is very trustworthy to me and works fine (I have it myself). I also think that it could be a conflict between the IP of the Superhub and the WNR2000. I know the WNR2000's Gateway IP is 192.168.1.1/routerlogin.net and the Superhub's is 192.168.0.1 or maybe 192.168.100.1.

I would wait for a reply from VM's team and see what they've got to say. I've never seen such an issue. It's in modem mode but it refuses to act like a modem and still it acts like a router instead. I'm baffled. You could try doing a hard reset of everything and restarting from scratch. May be a setting that you've ticked/applied to the router before linking the Superhub to the WNR2000.

One last pointer/question: Which WNR2000 version is it? v1, v2 or the v3?
