Hey Overclockers UK members,
I have decided on getting the SuperMicro H8DCL-iF motherboard and need some help on deciding which PSU to get.
The final system I hope to put together will consist of:
From the list I did a quick PSU calculator check from here and it said I required 850W of power (GPU = GTX 680, 10 fans - slight overkill to get a good idea).
Now the SuperMicro H8DCL-iF motherboard requires: SSI 24-pin + 8-pin + 8-pin power connectors / EPS12V and Two 8-pin connectors are required to support 2 CPUs due to SSI spec.
I've searched for some 1000W PSU's but i'm not entirely sure what I should be looking out for.
For example would this PSU having 2 x 4+4-Pin CPU 12V accommodate the SuperMicro motherboard's requirement of 8-pin + 8-pin?
Any guidance would be appreciated
Thanks
