Supernatural/Paranormal - Do you beleive

Yes I believe in the unseen, even though iv not experienced anything out of the ordinary myself.

Dogs and other animals can hear things that we cannot hear. In the same way I believe that there are certain things that we cannot see.

What did the Poltergeist do K ?

It's favourite thing to do was move things - mainly letters.

I think it liked to be helpful as it used to pick letters up from the table and line them up behind the clock :)

Rather sweet really :)

When I was like 7 in Primary School everyone said the "Say Bloody May in the mirror 3 times and she will appear"

I did it once and I saw something come behind the mirror, it was dark in my room at the time I ran like hell that night!

:<

UFO’s yes.

Ghosts, no.

Saw a UFO when I was about 10, playing in the street with my mates these two red lights flew towards each other at great speed across the valley, then stopped dead in front of each other and rotated around each other as it flew off towards the city.

Ran in screaming to mother etc to be greeted with laughter etc, kid’s imagination….

Headlines on local paper next day, 250’000 people see flying saucer over Swansea Valley, Neath etc.

Should have left a chore list, see how friendly it was then.

Seriously though what happened to IT and how did it come about, please tell me more :)

Tbh I don't know and I don't know.

It was when I was a fair bit younger but apparently it was around for a couple of months. No-one really thought anything of it as it first, things had just been moved when people got up in the morning, but once it moved the letters in front of us while we watched TV there wasn't any more denying it.

We left it to it and it went away one day :)

As it stands:

Aliens, yes (simple statistics).
UFOs, yes, (plenty of unidentified things about in the sky ;) ).
UFOs = Aliens, no (current understanding of physics).
Paranormal/Supernatural, don't be silly.

They all make for great TV though and that's all that matters :D

I'm the biggest sceptic in the world.
Been living 48 years and still seen nothing supernatural.
Anybody with any proof can contact James Randi and he will give you a million dollars.
Funnily enough no one as ever claimed it.

About 12yrs ago my wife and I moved to Cornwall to start a business.
While looking around at locations/premises etc. we had rented a cottage...

On the first evening there,we heard strange noises coming from one of the bedrooms.on opening the door we found the room was FULL of Bluebottles (to the extent that if you opened your mouth it would choke you).We contacted the agent and told him to find us somewhere else, spent the night in an Hotel but had to go back there next day) not para but scary as hell..

However...
We returned next day, both in the kitchen, when my wife rose about 12" in the air turned horizonta and was dashed to the floor with huge force. Her hip was smashed and required replacement plus other injuries.

The next day...
The following day, wife in Hospital,I returned to the cottage to get some stuff,my dog was with me.I let her out to have a wee and finished what I was doing.Five minutes later opened the back door to call her and there she was...lying on the step...dead.The vet did not know cause of death.

I wouldnt completly write the idea off but after reading most of the experiences on here ive noticed most of them are when the person was little. Yes, maybe some of them happened but as your younger your normally scared to death of ghosts and the like and so if you see something that looks like a figure its always going to be emphasised by the fact your young and scared to death. I personally would love to go on one of those ghost hunt things for the experience.

Bit

Any doors/windows open in the room with blue bottles. Its stuff like that which makes me believe, think there is someone else in the universe part from us to

in this case im in the

"prove they exist then il believe in them" camp

though i do feel there is a chance of aliens, i doubt supernatural things like ghosts

Why? There is no scientific proof (that is, beyond a shadow of a doubt proof) that aliens exist, and the same is true for ghosts. You don't know they don't exist, yet you don't know they do[i/] exist either, and since this can be applied to both aliens and ghosts, why do you (and others) believe that there is more of a chance that aliens exist than ghosts?

I think I should rename myseld 'oxymoron' or something, since I'm about to contradict myself (I do that a lot) and say that I do actualy agree with you; I find it easier to believe the possibility of aliens that ghosts, but why should I, and why should anyone? You may argue that aliens are almost certainly alive in some remote galaxy, but what proof is there other than the result of a probability calculation? And since we have no scientific explanation for ghosts, such a probability calculation is impossible, but if we discover a possible explanation for ghosts, who's to say we couldn't then 'prove' ghosts to the extend that we can currently 'prove' aliens?

I think I just successfully had an arguement with myself. :o

I remember I read about a UFO sighting in England during the 70's(or 80's or 60's or 90's ) and there was a picture of a really scary kind of spaceman protruding behind a couple on some hills or something, can anyone remind me what it's called?

something out there is space: Yes.
have they visited us: NO.

I've seen dark figures in my room, strange ailen like doctors injecting me in the stomach, a flaming satan and other weired goings on whilst being paralised but completley consiuse. Dont belive there supernatural or ailiens. Its just simple sleep paralasis. Althoguh I can why theres so many alien abduction/sightings. Its very scary and so real and vivid.

but why should I,

Simple fact we haven't explored or own solasystem in any detail let alone the billions of other solasystem.

However we have explored the earth in amazing detail(bar a few places) the only people who seem to find ghosts are the people who go lookign for them..

also some ghosts have been explained by noise/vibration. Shacking the eyeball. Which blurs the image and makes people seem opaque.
