Supernatural/Paranormal - Do you beleive

m a 100% believer however i 100% believe that those "aliens" cant get here. everything "strange" is normaly explainable, and i go great lengths to try and find the real reason for something.

for instance, the whole Essex area came up as a UFO hotspot last year, and i saw one too (thread might be around somewhere still), and i was almost gobsmacked and couldnt explain it. Then i found out that it was a simple chinise lantern....

.... then camping this weekend i saw a bright "orb" floating from West to SW and couldnt really explain it... all my mates was saying it was a plane, but planes have wings and ID lights :rolleyes:..... turned out it was the ISS and if the shuttle had launched on its first launch date i would have seen that chasing it across the sky also....

Our first house we moved to was an old Terrace house in Llandaff cardiff, the house was next to a police station but rumour had it, it was once a church.

When we moved into the house the house needed the floor boards redone as they hadn't been done in years. My dad took them up and low and behold found leg bones, we called forensics in who found they were animal leg bones of full animals...odd huh.

Anyhow my mum always said that house made her uncomfortable, but I remember distinctly seeing someone in the corner of my bedroom stood in a corner when I was little.
What made it worse sometimes I would have my legs pulled under the duvet and odd little weird experiences happened. I don't believe it was a ghost or anything like that but I do believe the human mind is capable of far more than is documented.
 
i think aliens are like us really somewhere else. Maybe they could be evolved further than what we are, or maybe they are at the time 10,000 years ago. homosapiens (i think) or something like that. they would be scared of travelling and they are probably havin convos like this etc

also, that thing about the government saying the UFOs are patterns from the weather in the sky, i think thats a cover up or something

edit: also, stonedwarf.. thats ****** up.. i think ghosts can be nice and bad.. depending on how the died or something.. but if they are evil, they can **** off.. srry bout your dog aswell

My mothers house is haunted apparently. The hauntings always occured next to my bedroom but did'nt seem to bother me at all.

My brother, mum and cat seemed to know there was something going on. Myself and little sister had no idea apart from the things they told us.

My bro couldn't sleep for a month when we first moved in. He said the house scared him. He'd always say he saw some thing by my bedroom.

My mum constantly saw a figure by my room and as for the cat, she had it bad!!

The cat would avoid the hallway by my room. If she did venture past the hall she would jump the distance into my bedroom. This was every time without question.

Strange huh????!!!!

We returned next day,both in the kitchen,when my wife rose about 12" in the air turned horizonta and was dashed to the floor with huge force.Her hip was smashed and required replacement plus other injuries.

The next day...
The following day,wife in Hospital,I returned to the cottage to get some stuff,my dog was with me.I let her out to have a wee and finished what I was doing.Five minutes later opened the back door to call her and there she was...lying on the step...dead.The vet did not know cause of death.

:eek: seriously? tbh after witnessing your wife being attacked i would not have even returned to that cottage, let alone with a dog. If all of that is true... that is seriously ****** up...
 
I want to be a believer but until i experience something myself then i have to remain 50/50.


I went on two ghost walks in edinburgh,one to greyfriars graveyard i think its called anyway that was good. Put you in the room where some cereal killer or something from years ago was burried all i got was a lil cold(the mind at work).

The other was some womans close that is under the streets of edinbugh that wasnt scary for me or anything,again it just felt cold at some points.

My cat has randonly stared at stuff for no reason and ran off scared at stuff when nothing was there in this house though.

I don't really know if I believe in alians or not, I suppose something must exist beyond earth. I do however belive in ghosts and the paranormal 100%. I've only had a few small experiences myself but family members have had loads.

The college I went to for the past two years is built around an old victorian house. The music department was inside this house where I spent a lot of time due to doing A-level music. One day last year I was doing a compositional techniques exam on one of the computers in a practice room. I was concentrating really hard on it then all of a sudden there was this HUGE bang from a drum sitting a few feet away from me. To say I almost **** myself was an understatement. I thought the skin had actually snapped it was that loud. After looking around the room (it's very small maybe 6ft x 7ft) I couldn't find anything that had fallen and hit it and the drum looked fine. Being the only person in this small room with the door shut I know there was nothing that could have possibly caused this. A few days later I was in a different practice room preparing for a performance when I was pushed from behind. There was no one behind me as I was close to a corner and the other violinist in front of me seen me getting pushed forward. A few weeks later I heard the chairs in the classroom being moved around when I was in a practice room again but there was no one there. My teacher was off ill and I was the only A2 music student. After this nothing else happened to me but some of the teachers were complaining of having their door handles violently shaking and having telephones ringing when no students were there and no calls shown on the switchbaord. Before this I had already believed in the paranormal due to stories that my family have told me.
 
I haven't ever experienced anything to make me believe in the supernatural. Until I do I won't believe in it, and even then I am sure there is a rational explanation for it

The weird thing about that is they where testing missiles in Australia the same time as that photo was taken, but they had to abort as two men/females/aliens in space suits the same as in that picture walked across the launch site. That was after days of UFO activity around the launch site.

100% believer here, aliens have got to be out there, all that space and time out there.

my bro is very religious, i often argue with him about the wise men, following a star.... (not goin religious here tho!) :D

oi read quite a lot on the subject of aliens.
ghosts and the paranormal just scare me though :eek:
 
I believe in UFO's because i saw about a dozen or sort of lined up in a curve line on the curve of the horizon. It was very dark at the time and was a fireworks night which is probably why they chose that night to be there. They were very very high and very bright, at first I thought they were stars because they were so high but then I realised they were moving very fast relative to a star and were lined up in a way all moving the same way so very organised movement along one direction.

Sadly didn't have a camera at the time and nor did my family who were also astounded and can't as of yet guess what it was. Another family from my town saw them too so it wasn't just us. God I wish I had a telescope as I could have zoomed in on them and got a really good view. I never understand why people don't manage to get close up pictures of UFO's with telescopes.
 
Some random weirdness from our house.

The Footsteps Was lay in the bath one Sunday morning. It was just after Alexander(Son) had started walking. I then heard the shuffling of feet at the top of the stairs which went into a full blown jogging on the spot. They were light enough to think that it was an infant. So I darted out of the bath thinking Alexander had managed to get up the stairs on his own. When I left the bathroom no one was there. I went down stairs and asked my wife why was Alexander running about on the stairs and she said he couldn't have been as he has been asleep in his buggy for nearly an hour.

The Toys
On a few occasions when we have been away some of the musical toys we have start by on their own. On the first occasion we had been camping for the weekend. So after a long drive home I darted in the house to the bathroom. I then heard one of Alexanders musical toys being wound up slowly and then it started playing. I went downstairs thinking nothing more of it. I asked Sarah did she set his thing off and she said she had been unpacking the car and had not been upstairs.

Guests stopping over

Last summer my sister in law stopped over with her boyfriend and duing the middle of the night we heard his bedroom door slam. Not thinking anything of it we left it till morning. Soon as we were all up he said that he had his bedroom door open all night and he got the smell of vomit in the room and all over his pillow. When he sat up he could see a small girl in the door way so he slammed it shut

The Previous owners
When we first moved into our house I needed to go and get my hair cut so I went to the local barbers. The woman said not seen you in here before etc etc and where we were living. So we got chatting and I told her our address. Then she just dropped her scissors and when white. She then went onto tell us that she lrented our house some 12 months before we bought it. I never told her of what we had experienced but she went onto tell us about seeing a small girl running around the landing between the bathroom and bedrooms on quite a few occasions. Things being moved around the house. Her children being pushed in their bedroom and when they turned around no one was there. Bearing in mind that was the first time we met and her details about the house were completey un-prompted from me.

In the end things started to get worse in the house and we found out that a young girl had hung herself near where our house was at the turn of the century. The site used to be an Orchard. We spoke with the local Vicar and asked her if she could come and bless the house. She came round and did some prayers and blessings if things got worse then we were to ring her and she would get someone else involved :eek:

We beleive that the house is haunted by this little girl and it has also been haunted by my wifes Nanna who died some years ago but her ashes were only buried some weeks ago by some ridiculous family fued. Luckily things have got better but there are still occasions when things do happen out of the normal
 
I was once walking through the house at night and something cloths lined me across the cheast but it was hard enough to make me almost fall over on my back.
But there wasnt anything around me at all or anything to walk into :eek:
