Hi. Does anyone have experience with this PSU? The fan is so loud even at idle. I've heard others say it's silent. Could the unit be defective?

The fan at idle/under a certain temperature should be off...thus silent.

RMA it or check the eco mode switch is ON.

I prefer the fan to run constantly. Even then, it shouldn't be that noisy. Check out the video and please tell me what you think especially at 40s.

It does sound a little "rumble" "rumbly".

I've used the 750W and it was always silent, although the 100W G2 on the other hand started to trip all my plug sockets for some reason no idea why...so its sitting in a box under my desk.
