Someone told me the reasons why amd and intel giveout totally diff readings at the same clockspeed, but cant remember the reasons and someone wants to know? Thanks

Intel CPU's ALU is faster clock for clock, the programs should work the same for all CPU's its just the way the CPU deals with the calculation, if it is programmed in such a way that it favours/optimised intel ( I thought it did) then AMD cpus would take a relativly long way round to do the same operation

Of course you should expect i7 gen Intels to be quicker clock for clock than phenom II gen AMD's as they are in most things.
Above and beyond this, SuperPI just happens to be something Intel CPUs are particularly good at. And it's been this way since as far as I can remember.
