SuperPI [pics now]

What results should i be looking to get a 2800mhz (heating is on full) at 1mb? Its doing at about 21secs, is that right?

Sounds about right.

I've got my E4300 at 3Ghz right now and it just calculated 1mb in 19.479s.

Yeh thats about right, I score 17 seconds @ 3.3Ghz.

I think the Stock speed is around the 30 second mark.

I'm getting 13sec at 3.6, and I think about 21 with my cpu at stock (2.4)

if you sharpen your timings and do some optimisation 18.9 should be possible @ 3.0Ghz with 2GB Ram

26 seconds was my friends 6300 at stock and 14.5 for me with my E6600 at 3.6ghz.

Does the RAM help aswell? My timings are pretty slack atm - havnt played about with them and also tis only 1gb

ram helps a little but not much... by using low latency and high bandwidth (PC-8500) I got the timings down from 16.085 to 15.680 at the same CPU clock speed, over slack timings and stock data rate (PC-6400), tho I also made some other changes so not sure exactly how much is down to the ram.

my timings are very slack atm - not sure why but there 5 5 5 18 - should do 4 4 4 12 as im only running at 400fsb due the heating
