How is it different? BCAA help the immune systems, muscle repairing, prevents the loss the muscle during training and it's got the medical uses to back it up?
Also I've seen far far more expensive supplements like that weight loss and muscle pump **** that doesn't help as much as BCAA's.
If it helps someone retain muscle mass when training and doing plenty of cardio or just helps them with recovery it's worth it if they can afford it.
Your argument can be made for exactly all supplements, they still have benefits and if for that person the benefits outweigh the cost it's worth it.
