Supplements the debate/discussion thread

interesting, where do you order their products from?

http://www.cnpprofessional.co.uk

when you join british cycling you get given a discount code which you enter at checkout.

obviously cnp products are cheaper elsewhere compared to there own website but with the 40% discount its still way cheaper.

ordered myself 5 products just and saved over £23 compared to the likes of monster supplements/affordable supplements etc

Mine as well, I ordered those flapjacks when they were on sale. They don't hold a light to the myprotein ones in terms of taste and quality/nutrient content.
Recovery XS is ridiculously overpriced as well, get yourself whey+dextrose, mix it together and it ends up costing less than half the price of Recovery XS.

I make the same arguement for buys that keep buying Maximuscle weight gain and other weight gainers, especially the oatgain ones.

Just buy Whey, Instant oats and aminos if you need them and it'll work out so much cheaper.

Instant oats is also geat for making protein pancakes.

Protein 18.8g
Carbohydrate 34.9g

Fat 7.1g
Of which saturates 3g

Carbohydrates: 43.8g
of which sugars: 6.3g

MP has slightly higher values but then its a bigger bar

they are virtually the same, infact as a % of the whole bar CNP has more protein

I do the same for breakfast, although I can't handle the plain unflavoured oats like that so I add a little bit of chocolate whey. There's also about 0.5 grams of Taurine added as well. Does the job for a great breakfast.

nonono, what you need is the MP Cookie bar:

As I said the CNP stuff doesn't hold a candle to them both taste and macro wise.

Ordered the 10kg of oats this morning. Was slightly annoyed that they ran out of the big tubs as they were in stock the other day when i checked. On the plus side i earned some nice referal points (if it was a member on here thank you!- think i posted up awhile back)

They're always out of the big tubs when I want some. I got a 4L one and it's just enough for 1kg of Whey

a 10l tub will take 5kg's of oats with a little room left. i ordered two tubs and 10kgs on the deal but got an extra bag thrown in :D so £5 for 15 kg's :)

Normally I have 100grams of Instant Oats with about 350ml of milk for breakfast, I add in about 25grams of Raspberry whey for flavour and that keeps me going untill 11ish. Post workout I normally just drink a Whey/Milkshake, but after reading the posts on this thread I should be including carbs into that? Maybe some more oats? I've dabbled with Creatine for the last 2 weeks but haven't noticed any difference.

Got all my stuff today and I ordered it all on Wednesday. not bad! I usually squish 5kg of oats into a 2.5kg tub of whey :D

just wondering for those that like omelettes as part of their training diet how many eggs are you having a day and do you use the whole egg or are you taking the yolks out for the omelette?
