Supplements the debate/discussion thread

True Whey has went up to £39.99.

I just buy the 5kg of Impact Whey Protein these days, last one i bought before the increase was £41.49 and todays price is £44.49 so not that much of an increase considering True Whey 2.5kg back has went up about £6.

I see the flavdrops which i use for flavouring have went up from £2.99 to £3.59 surely this can't be classed as a sports supplement or is it just MP profiteering?

Impact whey hasn't gone up today. It's the same price as i paid on friday. The previous increase was some time ago.

FUUUU I loved flavdrops.

Some of the more premium supp brands are getting ridiculous now. I used to love Prolabs N Large II but that really musn't get much more expensive.

• 7000 mg of BCAAs in a research-proven ratio
• 3500 mg of Leucine
• 2500 mg of Glutamine
• 1000 mg of Citrulline Malate
• 1171 mg of Electrolytes
• 640 mcg of Vitamin B6
• And, zero Carbohydrates or Sugar

I chuck two scoops in a whole shaker and drink half on the drive to the gym, then half on the drive from gym to work. Works out nicely & the difference it makes to DOMs is absolutely noticeable (unfortunate because it's bloody expensive!).
This all fasted mind, so it might not be of benefit to those with a more normal scehdule.
