To be fair, U_E has a point buried in his post: you're drinking that stuff for a reason... If we all ate what tasted good, we'd be eating steak. ;)

dont make out like my point is buried. I shove my point in your face and i say "yeah! you like that dont you! you like my point you little homo ****"

I have problems.

Do squats!

Bunch of weirdo's, the lot of you.

I prefer my PWO unflavoured, having it flavoured makes it like drinking two tonnes of sugar. But never mind, needs must

If he's lactose intolerant then it may just bother him :p

Except for the fact he's drinking lactose-free protein, but yes, otherwise an excellent point......

Don't you use dextrose in your PWO?

Your point made me laugh at least. :p I take unflavoured and it's not the flavour that bothers me. Taking it post workout is fine, I can drink it within 10 minutes, any other time of day is an absolute chore!

I can't stand watery shakes. I have one of the small shakers from MP, 3/4 full of water with 50g of True Whey. Nice and thick, a little bit creamy, actually goes down a treat!
If at home I make it with crushed ice and blend it, takes like a mcdonalds milkshake!

Mine are usually mixed in half a pint or so of water, by the time the whey and dextrose is in, it's practically a pint

I usually split my PWO shake up

I tend to put 5g of whey in a 2L Evian bottle, fill it up with water and down it, I do this 6 times. I find it's the ultimate water to whey ratio

You've got to be careful with that though Steedie. The plastic can actually absorb some of the protein, so what you think might be 5g of protein is actually nearer 4.5g. Might not sound a lot, but if you're like me and take 5 shakes a day, that soon mounts up. Over the course of a week, that could be ~1000 - 1200 kcals.

No it's ok.

Because what I do is I video myself drinking this shake, post it on a forum for a load of people to critique, then I spend the next six months of my time perfecting this drinking technique so to get maximum protein consumption, I don't make much progress, but it helps me sleep at night

Have you thought about evaporation tho? the human body is 37c so as soon as you touch that water bottle you're heating it up and loosing some of that 2ltr. Over one day that might not be much but over the course of a month it might be a few more millilitre than you are counting.

I get around evaporation by weighing out my water unboiled, I find that if I weigh it boiled, it loses some of the water weight, which means I can lose about 10 litres over the course of a week
