Was wondering what supplement is most effective for weight and muscle gain?
i've been using various supplements for a while maintaining a healthy diet with it and have found maximuscle cyclone to be fairly good seem to have gained quite a few pounds in the past couple weeks whilst training from it but is there a better one out there.
What do u bodybuilders recommend? :)

well i've got my routine under control training is very hard atm!

day 1 legs shoulders abs

day 2 cardio abs

day 3 back chest abs i think

day 4 relax

day 5 arms abs

day 6 cardio abs

day 7 relax

i can see the progress coming through will post some pics up in the bodybuilding thread dont have as much definition before in abs :( but at the end of day im gaining weight :D just wondered what others use thats all and if there are better

plus i have between 4-5 meals a day then 3 supplements

well i have a personal trainer and i dont really do that much intensity on the abs:

swiss ball crunch x 15

swiss ball oblique x20

jacknife with pressup x15

and i do 2-3 rounds depending on how i feel once i've completed my circuit on arms, or shoulders + legs etc.

But morba im not 100% its chest and back i will check in fitness diary not sure.

If its better i could give a list of the exercises i do?

in response to freefaller i've been taking maximuscle cyclone one in the morning with weetabix with flaxseed :) and then one an hour before training and then one instantly after training.

my aim is basically to get to 12stone, i currently weight 10 2 i just want a nice bigger physique basically.

i didnt want to start some big argument here! The only reason for me having supplements instead of having more "proper meals" is mainly down to time, its just so much easier and more convenient to do just whack a bit of powder in a bottle and there ya go got a nice amount of protein!

for me working from 8 and not getting back till 6ish and only having a microwave and george foreman grill at work it's fairly difficult to cook whole meals so quite restricted in what i can cook.

i have noticed a difference recently with me being able to increase weights slowly but surely thought that may have been down to the shakes... i bet im going to get slated for saying that now :p

having a forman grill makes more sense to have chicken at work!
or, prepare it the night before.

rice - boil in a bag or microwave.

simple ;]

well typical diet at the moment is:

0730 cyclone shake

0830 weetabix x3 and 2 tablespoons of flaxseed

1030 chicken or egg mayo s/w

1330 chicken fillets with brown rice and sweetcorn

1530 soya nuts and banana

1900 pasta

1930 cyclone shake

2000-2200 workout 90 mins gym 30 mins steam

2130 - cyclone shake

if im not feeling bloated left over meals from what was cooked earlier.

well in the morning due to having trouble getting up lazy git :p so i don't have time to make scrambled eggs etc so have a shake then. Then a shake hour before workout, pt said to and shake directly after pt said to again :) trying to follow what i'm told!

hehe :p

Like I said if I don't have time for a biiiiig breakfast, or haven't done my shop I'll still have a bowl of something and a shake just to tide me over. I just don't rely or exclusively use them ;)

You seem to know the ins and outs of bodybuilding so what supplement shake is it that you use :D
