You'll probably want RAID cards for the extra SATA connections, and if you want redundancy so you don't lose all the data when on disk dies, you'll want the disks set up in a RAID array to 2, which will reduce the space you have available.
Make sure all the drives are screwed in rather than clipped on one side with a plastic jobby, otherwise the combined vibration noise will be louder.
Read the spec on one drive, multiply up its power requirement to see what power PSU you need. It's likely to be less than a good GPU requires.
